A morning of forest bathing, mindful walking, gentle yoga and meditation in the calming surroundings of a beautiful beechwood nature reserve.

Research shows the forest is a natural way to heal ourselves; boosting our immune systems, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress levels.

Is this for me?

A woodland walk which combines mindfulness, yoga and meditation. No previous yoga experience is required. This walk meanders slowly along a woodland path, there is a gentle ascent so a reasonable level of fitness it required. Our yoga practise will be standing and practiced in shoes, so there is no need to bring a yoga mat.

We sit for meditation, If you have a walkers sitting pad please bring this with you, otherwise I will have some spares which you can borrow. We spend 2 hours in the woods; it will feel cooler so wear warm clothing, layers preferably and strong walking shoes. There are no facilities in the woods, only what nature provides, so please respect the environment and take your litter with you.

  • A waterproof jacket, in case of a light shower (not expected Saturday)
  • Bottle of water or flask.
  • A walkers sitting pad, if you have one.
  • Small day pack
