Would you like to spend time in the forest, slowing down and getting back to nature?
It is so easy to get swept up in the busy rush of everyday life, and the needs of everyone around you. Why not gift yourself 3 hours to unwind and de-stress amongst the trees? Use the time to connect with the nature around your and to reconnect with your true nature within you.
As I guide you through the forest, I will suggest a variety activities to help you to use all of your senses to fully explore the beautiful, ancient beech forest around you. You have nothing to organise, plan or worry about - you just need to be present.
Forest bathing is a slow, mindful practice. We walk amongst the trees, bathing in an air-bath of natural forest biochemicals (so no swimming costume required!). These biochemicals have been scientifically proven to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and boost our immune system and mood. It's a wonderful way to boost your mental and physical well-being.
I am a trained forest bathing guide. Group sizes are intentionally small, typically 4-6 people, to ensure maximum relaxation and individual attention. We end with a tea ceremony, snacks and a chance to share our experiences (if we wish).
Three hours sounds like a long time, but people find that it flies by. Time seems to move at a different speed amongst the trees!
No experience required.
The walking pace is slow but please be aware that the path up the hanger is relatively steep and can be muddy. Please dress appropriately for the weather, using layers of clothing. Stout footwear is recommended.

As with any natural environment, there may be uneven ground and natural hazards such as mud, tree roots and low-hanging branches. In booking on this event, you agree to take responsibility for your own safety during the session.
If you have any medical conditions, are on prescribed medication or are pregnant, please inform your GP that you are attending a forest bathing session so that they can give you any appropriate advice. If you currently experience, or have a history of serious health issues (including mental health issues, medical procedures, seizures, special needs), please inform us before the walk.
Please be aware that this session is aimed at adults only. No under 18s will be permitted to walk with us.
